mixing "real" and "fake" pearls ..?
Okay, the plan was to wear my Akoya Pearl Necklace and matching earrings with my wedding dress, so I did not budget for jewelry. I decided at my last fitting, that with my hair, I may need a little "more" than a simple earring stud. I have a really nice pair of "fake" loops Earrings have a very small CZ leading to a waterfall of beads, the same color as the beads from my necklace. They look nice, no cheese or plastic. Is it wrong to wear fake but I have a pair sitting in my jewelry box? I wore many times the amounts they were a gift from my fiance and I love them .. I do not know if they are what I need for that day.
Oh yeah, 'mix em! My necklace Claires was, yeah, but it did look nice (but you're lucky to have a real necklace). I had a pair of earrings Real ear that my mother gave me, plus I had a necklace with fake pearlish / medallion that I used to tie my bouquet (In memory of my grandparents). So, yes, mix it up, it's quite good. As long as they do not look like plastic beads you get in the department of beads at Michael's kid, I think you're good.
