My house was burgled. How do I determine value?
I have no idea of some articles that have been stolen. Silver jewelry box and some antique coins (I do not even remember how many there are or what they were) I inherited the family is no longer alive. I've never been in the collection and kept it for my son who was only 13 yet.It about 40 coins, the only thing I remember there was unique 1 / 2 percent and 3 percent, some silver coins. Jewelry box had some engraved design in the Art Deco style. How do I find the value for price insurance claim?
To determine the value of the collection, for insurance purposes, you can watch on ebay, but if you do not know anything about the coins, it will be difficult to discover. I would say, just look at most parts of the site as possible in an effort to find one that look alike. Without documentation, it is very Insurance likely will honor your request, anyway. I made a point of photographing all my things and save the photos to disk. Most jewelry Precious I are separately insured with complete documentation (and their own special premium charge).
