How are gems of dollars?
Does anyone have a source that explains the value of precious stones? I understand that diamonds are high over the list What about things like emeralds, rubies and amethysts? But sometimes you see a gem with a stone within, and it is quite expensive – but it is unclear whether the value of the stone you're mainly paying or just the precious metal, it is set .. I recently bought a sterling silver charm with a genuine amethyst and although I'm really glad I got it so cheap (£ 5) I am now wondering how "precious" stones that are really … (The Amethyst is "oval cut of 0.75 carats and measures 7x5mm) It is 100% authentic for sure.
