Question on setting jewelry …?
Does anyone know where I can buy in bulk, colored glass beads / rhinestones? I a ring that expensive stone fell over and I really want to replace it. The gems should be "stopped" at the rear, rather than flat, and preferably silver, so that the color of the jewelry I'm fixing the color will not affect the gem. They need to be absolutely glass, I can not afford something more expensive (the ring was less than £ 10) and they can not be made of plastic: they'll just go and dull horrible. They also needed to be round, while the classic "top flat bottom and sharp" cut. The ring is in stock again, I do can not buy another. I'm ready to buy wholesale / packs of gems because they are still useful for fixing things. A variety sizes would be good to give a better chance of installing gem. I want to replace one that is about 2 mm in diameter.
