Is it acceptable to use a class ring as a temporary engagement ring?
me and my man love each other, live together for a year now and we just ran into financial issues, but one day he asked his way if I wanted to marry, and I said yes baby id marry you anyday, but I really just took his way to reassure worried id give sudden problems to him, but he really meant it and he said since our financial problems were so bad that id have to wear his class ring until it aforrd can better .. I guess my question is just, is that acceptable? would I still be considered a participant or would it not be for real until I get the real ring? were both super excited that he does not feel "like im really committed even if he calls me his fiancee? ps I'm not complaining at all im quite confused about it is rather the real deal w / o the ring actuall … any advice? plz and thank you
Call me old, but until it gets to one knee and ask you to be his wife with a ring to put on your hand, you're not engaged. It does not feel as if you were at stake because you're not. Talk about it before the next time he calls his girlfriend in front of your people and tell them you do not feel engaged because you do not have a ring and a date yet. Frankly, it seems that the 12 and can not wait to grow up, but you can not rush the growth. You can not put a seed in the soil and germinate. That's my opinion.
