Questions about donations?
Here’s the scenario: You’re in a store and resound with the different items you buy, you decide to a $ 1.00 donation to say research on breast cancer. Everything is called on the same invoice. As you pay the cashier give you a coupon you for x amount off the total purchase (which means that each item gets a little dicounted). Since the gift was struck with everything else, is just take off that too. So my question is, is $ 1.00 being donated to the cause? Let’s say that the coupon has finally take off $ 0.20, in which you want pay $ 0.80 for the gift. I have heard of the bank to pay the company donated x amount of money before they ask for donations, so that the company Don will always get the right amount (but I do not know if it’s really how it works). This coupon just me all confused and sorry if this question is confusing, but I wish I knew!
Giving the dollar should be added after all the coupons and sales tax (the if applicable). It is subject neither to the coupons, or taxes.
