Have you liquidate a quartz watch?
I have a friend who tried to sell me a watch. He says it is a pocket watch Elgin Antique but says it is a quartz watch. I have not seen it say that you're back. Is it perhaps mistaken in saying that it quartz? Have they never made a quartz watch that breath until something you only have to do to watch with mechanical movements?
The coil is something you do with mechanical movements. Quartz movements run on a low battery. It may be misled by the button of the watch that is used to set the time. You can tell if you see the watch works. A quartz watch will advance the second hand by steps of a second. A mechanical watch tick and advance the second hand in 3-6 steps per second.
