The beads are different from other gemstones which are produced within the depths of Earth. Pearls are created naturally by living organisms which are mollusks. Mollusks have soft inside the whole body and a rigid hull outside. Molluscs such as freshwater habitats or land. History on the beads dating back 530 million years. 3.Symmetrical beads that can be pear shape and these forms of symmetry, but not necessarily round.
The beads may further be classified in different types that are generally countries where they are produced. Some of these types are:
1.Black pearls are produced from black oyster. Found in the South Sea. Some beads can be made using black dye, but the natural colors are dark gray or black.
2.Akoya pearls are those pearls that represent the the most common. When you heard of the pearl, Akoya pearl is the image you are trying to describe. These kinds of cultured pearls are mostly in Japan, and oysters that produce them are palm-size pearls and they are not these great. Only about 2 mm to 10 mm.
3.South Sea pearls are those oysters and white is most important. They are silver in color and measures 15mm. These pearls are very rare and very expensive.
4.South half sea pearls are a form hemispherical. They are silver in color and are quite similar to pearls Mabe.
5.Mabe pearls are hemispherical with a burst of color rainbow. Mabe pearls simply differ from South Sea pearls in color. These pearls are cultured and cultivated today.
6.Seed beads are very small and look like a poppy seed. The shape is oval or distorted.
