How long should two people be dating before they give promise rings eachother?? My boyfriend and I had eachother engagement rings at Christmas and we've been dating for two years … what are your opinions?? you think I'm in high school?? I think two years is an ideal time for rings if you promise to love each other and are committed relationship, I think it is sweet. Just remember a promise is a promise, and contrary to popular belief People are not promises made to be broken. Congratulations on your commitment to each other! Happy New Year. Aero
