I wrote "yes" a couple of years as a gift for my brother's wedding. I thought I could not go wrong if I used the actual wedding vows as the chorus. When people hear the song for the first time they sing with the choir, because they feel like they already know, I think that's why so many people really like the song! "said Smith.

In an effort to release a wedding song for everybody, "Yes" was recorded in two different styles. They differ in the instruments used, and the lyrics in the bridge of the song.
The traditional version Mainstream / features internationally renowned violinist Ken Ford. In addition, the bridge of the song offers a mass-market appeal:

I decided to write two versions of the song because all types of people get married every day. Fortunately, a version of "yes" can be a part of their special day! "Said Smith.
"First Dance" is the song Perfect for you and your new spouse to dance your First Dance!
It celebrates the victory of overcoming all the self doubt, trials and tribulations that the search for true love can create with the ultimate embrace of the first dance.
When I received the call that my sister married, I knew it would be a very special wedding. She is the only girl in our family and lived in Japan where she met her husband online! As the eldest brother, I could not wait to meet my soon to be brother-in-law, only to discover that it is a great guy! In fact, our conversation was actually the inspiration for the song, "said Smith.
