Marvin Hagler his place in boxing history?
As fighters relegated to history, it is easier to put their achievements in a proper historical perspective. Hagler is where his place in boxing history and average weight of the whole? What it means for the sport of boxing? What do you think of his foot from the sport at 33? What do you think of its report without the sport since the battle against Leonard? I remember Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns sharing a popcorn at ringside for the Hatton-Mayweather fight. I kept thinking how Marvin Hagler would have been there too. There was a vacuum? I still think he could continue to contribute to sport through a comment or a performance to rival contender Leonard. He certainly knows more than slapstick Max Kellerman and Merchant drunk Larry.
I think Hagler was one of three top five middleweights of all time. His career should not have been more after the fight, but Leonard was so bad on the decision (which I found somewhat unfairly) he just left and boxing. It's a shame. Imagine a Hagler fight against Hopkins!
