Being a spectator first Shih Tzu dog show
If you plan to show your Shih Tzu, your first experiences with the conformation must also be a spectator. You need to study and practice before actually entering a show with your Shih Tzu. Leave behind the Shih Tzu.
The first thing you want to buy at the fair is an exhibition catalog. Do not miss. Clubs often run out of these earlier in the day. Catalog the exhibition is like a dashboard. They are usually available on the table of the Superintendent.

• Crufts
• World Fair
Some of the biggest shows are held over two days. About half of the races are presented the first day and the other half of the second day. If there is a specific breed that you want to see, such as Shih Tzu, you should know what day the Shih Tzu will be shown.
Whatever the variety show you attend, it is called conformation because all judges is to be based on how each dog conforms to its written breed standards.
Take a chair with you and find a seat at ringside needs to be a spectator. Remember, you go to this show without your Shih Tzu. You just want to watch, observe closely how people show their dogs. You can learn a lot from being a spectator.
