Travelling to Kuala Lumpur. What should I buy and where should I buy?
I will be in KL for 4 days from 12 April to 16 April. Some things I would consider based on quick analysis of the Internet. I'm ready for a computer. I was going to buy a refurb unit in the States, but I think I'll wait my return. I'll probably make silver jewelry, but it's easy to be scammed. Do you store recommend? Do they have good deals on precious stones or gold? I want a few pieces of carved wood or artifacts. Where can I get it? What other factors to consider when I'm in KL?
To recommend any jewelry stores in malls. It would be cheaper to go to a jeweler in the suburbs. For parts or carved wooden objects that I would recommend both crafts KL complex and the central market. Although prices are somewhat higher than elsewhere the quality is good and they are both easily accessible. As with other things. The clothes are cheap in Malaysia. Many international brands have stores. Electronics are cheap because there's lots of competition. So if you are after a cell phone or camera. If you are after imitation brands then head to China Town.
