How can I find / authenticate a piece of Nazi era jewelry?
I have a sterling silver ring with a stone dull green, which has an arrow and the snake on each side, with a swastika on each side as well. I have no idea what it is, and it makes me sick that I confess. I want to throw it, but do not want to throw something that might be useful. Any ideas on how to know this?
It may be an artifact – Nazi swastika has been used decoratively for thousands of years before the Nazis distorted it. The Go to your library and find books and price guides on the jewelry. You may find that it is a part American Indian – The green stone could be turquoise and they often use the money. The snake motif and the arrow further evidence that this may be a Hopi, Navajo or Zuni room. One of my friends sell Indian artifacts. Visit his website and see if you can lend a hand.
