Carnival cruise to Cozumel?

I take my son (who will be 19 months) for a Carnival cruise to Cozumel. For those of you who crossed Carnaval in Cozumel before, this port that we will undertake? What is there to do on the platform or recommend you to go San Miguel? Furthermore, if we take a taxi to the city, will they let my son ride without a child seat? I guess it's from Mexico, it should be good, but it is good to know in advance. Tips for cool things in the city for us to do? I want to do souvenir shopping, and perhaps haggle for silver jewelry. My Carnival cruise to Cozumel from Tampa. There is nothing to do with the pier then go into town and taxis are very difficult to obtain, so do not drag down the boat or you're in a long wait for a taxi. Do not worry not a car seat, it is Mexico, you are lucky that the car has wheels and windows. The only thing to do in town is shopping and eat, so be prepared to do these, but do not drink the water, and if you get a soda instead, make sure there is no ice in it because, guess what, ice is made from local water! They also offered us two shore excursions in Cozumel, a day exploring the Mayan ruins in a jeep, or a day at the beach. We're not one of them, I can not comment, but fellow passengers who seemed like them. Good luck! … ☺
