Silver Jewelry – Pure white?
I need help photographing highly polished silver jewelry on a pure white background (# ffffff) for a use on a website. I recently bought a kit for white. A small light tent Olympus E520 DSLR Zuiko 35mm macro lens 5000k. photography 2 lamps with 300W. But I'm not sure about camera settings and the general configuration for this type of work:. Please advise) Sorry I forgot to add that I am not after the reflection effect, I just liked this image because it shows the shape of cuff and completely out of shape and the transport of a true silver color and texture (something so far I have not)
Easy with the kit you have:. Use the same basic configuration of this type (the light from each side) but http://www.flickr.com/photos/pchthetwit/4560372491/, seamless background white and white ceramic. During the exhibition do not forget the white meter and expose only 1.7 EV, that way it will be considered non-white pixels combustion. You want to shoot in manual mode it true that exhibitions are compatible, and also set your white balance to daylight (or you can define an exact number, 5000K to meet your lights).
