Is there a way to clean sterling silver jewelry with household products fair?
I have sterling silver jewelry that begins to darken and wonder if there is a way to clean jewelry using simple household goods regularly. Thank you
The first step would be trying to soak it in warm water with few drops of mild detergent. Then rub it with a toothbrush, rinse with clean water and let dry on paper towels. If this is not enough, and jewelry contains no precious stones or pearls, you can place it in a container lined with aluminum foil, sprinkle with baking soda and pour in hot water. Soak for half an hour, then clean with a toothbrush as above.
