The best way to pawn jewelry?
I have this black Tahitian pearl necklace from my ex-boyfriend, and her time as I get rid of him. What is the best way to do it? I mean, you can not buy them on the continent … thank you:)
Well, if it is rare, do not pledge. You will have lucky to get 25% of its worth. Try to sell it on E-bay, since you can place a specific amount that you want at least to her. You can even try to go to some jewelry stores and ask them. Ask them to give you an estimate on that (do not act like you want to sell) then ask them if they would be interested in purchasing. Do not give 60-70% less than the price they tell you. Its still a good deal on both parties. Even if they buy it, they may be able to tell you where you can sell it. You can take it to an auction well. Check your area and see if you have near you. That would probably be your best bet.
