I have a watch Tissot kinetics, I have worn every day for about 4 years and I bought used. No batteries, no maintenance, keeps perfect time. It was the best value I've ever had for £ 100. I assume by "automatic" you mean he is kinetically powered. These watches are great because you never have to open them to insert the batteries and, in my experience, they are very reliable and very accurate.
