Have you ever seen or experienced a tornado?
Tell me about it! I used to live in Oklahoma and we would like to get watches and tornado warnings much, I almost miss it! (Well, I was scared, but I do miss the storms.) I always wanted to see, and then I finally could. I was on the edge of a field and he lives behind a clump of trees. It was dark and I could not see when the lightning struck, but it was great! Any personal history?
I have seen and been. About 3. I saw Art in Indiana and about 3 years, we had on .. oohhh .. 12 in a matter of 2 weeks. The first i was never was in that year and my son is 2. We live with my parents and just bought a new house. It was predicted that he would be facing the wrong time. Well .. that nite .. I think Thursday, we watched a few thunderstorms south of here and all the sudden, just north west of us had turned a bit .. they ignored and my father ran out .. about 10 minutes after he left .. he returned. we grabed our police / scanner weather and sitting there waiting. About 5 minutes later, the lights flickerd .. and I grabbed my son and ran down .. It was funny because he stairs.lol my father began to say go into the basement, but I was already there. My father kept the stairs seemed like a wha hour .. but only abut 10 minutes .. literay he jumped down 4 Stepps at a time .. and put us in the tiny closet Itty Bitty under Stepps .. closed the door .. and then said he saw .. and it was huge. About that time we had a rubbish .. then a train noise. Garage door began shudder .. and I will never forget the look on my parents' eyes. We were all thinking the same thing .. what we see when we get out. Well, it lasted a good 5 minutes .. if not more. Thinkfully everthing was cleared. We had no damage in more than a few shingles on the roof. It proved my dads boat with park behind .. i tore my son swiing together .. and .. one way or had a beach ball and floats our pool … and we have never found. About 2 days later, we had more than 1, then the following weekend, when my brother was at home .. we had more than 5 .. is when we lost ur porch, and about 6 trees .. of Clémentine not our power. We didn't power for 3 weeks .. no showers .. nothing. we had to make trips to Wal-Mart to buy lunch meat, propain, meat, ice, pop, water .. since we could not drink water .. and batteries. We have had our lives turned upside down. We always went to bed around 10 or 11 .. then after what happened, we returned to days and once the power is out .. we went to bed around 8 or 9. It was really fun. After 3 weeks we got our power back on .. but unfort. we ended up losing a close community here … English. There was an F3 .. one who came over here … I had to think of a life ten and almost completely out of the city .. Keep in mind that we had so may have confused the days. Its still a pell-mell, even after 3 years. I still freak out on them .. but at least now me and my son are the rooms in the basement lol.
